Question Quaife LSD and Nismo Cat Back Exhaust Sys.

I recently bought a '08 base model and am looking to make some performance upgrades.

1) I definitely want to lose the open diff and go with an LSD. I've been shopping around and have been viewing the forum and see that the Quaife is probably one of the better choices. I want performance and practicality if possible.

2) I was thinking of going with the Nismo cat back exhaust system so as not to void my warranty. I also hear that it sounds mean and is not overbearing.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'd appreciate any input.

On a side note, I have the Nismo dual CAI standing by to be installed.

And in doing a little more digging on the forum, I see that there are different lubes to use in the diff which make a difference in noise and feel. Any recommendations there?

it won't matter which fluid you run in the Quaife, it does not make any noise as it's a helical (gear) unit. Clutch type diffs are the ones that typically can be more prone to noise, and are more sensitive to the fluid used

I have an 07z... The nismo exhaust sounds great! I also have thrown some Stillen HFC on...The combo sounds great!
I did have one problem. My y-pipe cracked, and I had to swap my old cats with my new ones. The dealership didnt see/know the difference, and replaced my y-pipe for free (under warranty)
Nismo S parts when installed by the dealership include a 3yr warranty
