adjusting factory pipes?
I have noticed almost every 350z, or dual exhaust car for that matter, the pipes are always slightly uneven. I've even noticed on brand-new cars that one pipe might be a 1/8th- 1/4 of an inch lower than the other.
A few days ago I noticed one of my pipes looks slightly lower than the other, is this easy to adjust? I have made no attempt to get under it but I am hoping for some guidance here as a starting point.
I tried the search feature and found nothing on this topic...

+1
i did fix my APS TD tips by adjusting the hight of its hangers
it was a very hard workout ,coz after every adjustment i have to install the mufflers to see what i`v done
,careful don`t over do it coz all you need is a bit of adjustment higher or lower as which muffler you like ,and keep a space from the pumper so it won`t get burn
good luck

ultimate noob question(s) here:
Will I have to jack the car up?
How far from the actual tail pipe is the hanger?
Will they think I am an idiot if I ask them to adjust it at the dealership?
