On a hot 100 degrees and extremely humid day, with some pinig 240 corrected uncorrected 244 at 6400 rpms. now I had just done the H pipe and my car dident had much time to adapt to it. I just ordered iridium plugs as soon as I get them I will re dyno at nite when temp are cooler also will run with either an octane booster or some race gas to prevent pining.
Mike, Any issues with slight intermitent rough idle (650 rpm) and how long after ECU reset does the mod take to 'adapt'? I've done an ECU reset which I thought would allow instant adaptation.
As far as I can tell there's no leaks, all hoses are back on, runs great (most noticable at 3k to redline)
It only runs a little rough at 650-- as soon as it's revved to 7 or 800 and above, it smooths.
Other mods include Borla TD, Ground Kit, Z-tube, K&N.
Thanks for your replies. No-one on our G forums has experienced any such issues so far. Altho some have noted the warped mating surface (including me). This made it hard to line up two of the longer middle bolts, and to torque all the nuts and bolts to spec.

I've got a 6MT Coupe. Same set up as yours, only my exhaust is a custom built dual utilizing a Magnaflow X pipe muffler. Anyway my car idles the same as before the mod. I had no warpage problem eather. With my ground wires, my idle is smooth as silk. BTW, I have never reset my ECU. Have not seen a reason too. When did Borla come out with a system for the Sedan?

Borla has been working on a system for the Sedan, and will release soon now that the Z and Coupe systems are done.
Lou did you check how flat the mating surface was on the Crawford Plenum? I'd read that due to rewelding it would distort the mating surface (mine was off by about 1/16") which made it difficult to line up some mounting holes and torque the nuts and bolts properly.
You say your idle hasn't changed since your Crawford install...... Mine went up slightly to about 700 rpms, but sometimes it goes down to what it idled at b4 the mod (600-650 rpms) and at that time it turns a little rough. As soon as the rpms are brought back to 700 or above it smooths again. The way it's acting isn't like a leak, and doesn't sound like one either. I'm wondering if the install has upset the A/F ratio too much.
I'm gonna keep it on for a while and see what transpires. If the idle smooths and nothing else developes, I'll keep. Otherwise I'll return it for another. We'll see.
I like the increase hp mid range and above to redline, It's a good mod but there may be some 'bugs' to work out.

I had no reason to check the flatness when I installed mine. I had not heard of any problems back then. (It's been one over a month now) All bolts lined up perfectly. My old gasket was still good. My normal idle with AC on and the car warm is about 650. With AC off it drops down to 500 or so. Again, smooth as silk.
