Default HFC and P1168??

Sorry guys if this has already been discussed, but I searched and couldn't find any answers.

I recently had my Berk HFC installed on my HR this past Friday and upon starting the car, voila: SES light. No biggie at first because I've heard some HR owners have this problem. Well I go get the code checked out but it's not the usual 0430 or whatever, it's a P1168 (closed loop, bank 2). From what I understand, this is the O2 sensor, pre cat? Is it possible that it was damaged during install? The damn impact tools rattled the shiet out of my car.

Second, does this pre-cat sensor affect the way the car runs? It ran fine for a couple of days and now all of a sudden, the exhaust sounds totally different and when I go WOT, it lurches before taking off (like it went into limp mode??)... it didn't do this when I first installed the HFC. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Here's an update, just wanted to share with everyone in case others have this problem in the future.

Talked to Bryan at Berk and it seems the P1168 (closed loop bank 2) is most likely a damaged primary O2 sensor (pre-cat/header, driver side) and it was probably damaged during install (damn impact tools). This sensor apparently DOES affect the way the car drives since the ECU cannot tell whether the car's running rich or lean on that side and thus puts it into "limp" mode to avoid damaging the motor. The 1168 is what also caused the subsequent P0051 error as well. Getting the sensor replaced on Monday and I should be golden. I'll update once that's done in case anybody else has this problem in the future.

On a sidenote: Bryan and Berk Technology.. you guys are awesome. By far the BEST customer service I have every experienced. Keep up the good work
