Default Crack on my test pipe

Took my test pipes out and found a crack on them:

I think probably the shop did it when taking them out, since I don't see any damage to the pipes such as scratches or whatnot that could've actually made this happen.

Do you guys know if it's fixable (welding it back together)?

I'm going to sell them but just want to make sure if the guy buying it will be able to fix it or if I can fix it before selling them.

Thanks in advance.

I thought maybe when they tried to take out the O2 sensor it was way too tight and the stress caused the crack, that's the only thing that came to mind.

Thanks! Good to know, would've hated throwing these puppies away.

This is the sensor port? Easily damaged removing the sensor. For $68 it is hardly worth welding: http://compare.ebay.com/like/1806465...=263602_309572

+1. Iv cracked 2 test pipes. Had both rewelded and wasnt worth it. Either buy some cheap replacements ^ or quality. It looks like the weld it self around the 02 bung was crappy

Last time my car was on a shop lift i glanced underneath and saw that the driver side test pipe had a about a 3 inch hairline crack near the 02 bung.

I havent dealt with it since and my car still sounds the same.

Hooray for another megan product.

I'm on my 5th set of test pipes, as I broke or cracked the previous 4 sets. Rewelding is pretty much a bandaid fix, imo, as they'll crack again.

I've heard good things about APS test pipes, but I'm currently using the TurboXS ones and haven't had any troubles thus far (although I don't drag race anymore).
