I spent quite a bit of time looking for an amsoil filter and couldn't find one so I just stopped looking. I give up easily I guess.

Hope someone responds with some helpful info. I'm only good for a BUMP.

From the amsoil dealer:

"Michael:

Thanks for your inquiry regarding the EAA74 filter. Unfortunately, it appears to be no longer available based on my research. Amsoil partners with Wix and Injen for the filters for your make/model. The Wix 46116 is $14.80 while the high performance Injen is $402.00. This is a total replacement for your current intake system and is probably more than your looking for. The filters are available directly thru the Amsoil website at www.amsoil.com. To be honest you can pick up one of the wix filters at your local auto parts store. While I believe wholeheartedly in the Amsoil products, I would never want you to spend more than necessary for your auto parts since you have shipping to consider. If you do decide to order from Amsoil you can use my reference number 1184851. Thanks again for contacting me."

Crap/ Sorry man, i forgot to pull mine last night and get you the part number off it. PM me this afternoon and remind me, i'm curious if it's the same part # you found. I have a feeling the one i have is a "universal" Ea filter they sell that just happens to fit our box exactly. They seem to sell alot of the Ea filters by size not car.

I jUst ordered all my things from AMSOIL 3 WEEKS AGO and recieved my EaA74 air filter among other things. It was on the site when I ordered it, now its gone.

THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK!

They take items off the website when they are not in stock. I phoned the tech services & they said they DO NOT know when they are getting more in, you'll just have to keep searching the site periodicly.

The reason they are sold out is because of the season. No need to stock-pile, just remember to order a little earlier than spring & you'll be fine. Plus, they are somewhat re-usable.

I'm just going to buy one when I need it. My car only gets driven MAYBE 10,000 KM a year so....

i don't see if your using stock air box, 2 different dry filters from 2 well known companies are going to make a hp difference (+-3hp max)

Default Amsoil

The Amsoil is not a very good choice for a high performance application. Take a look at the testing and you'll see it's the same as stock if not worse. Blitz is worse! Keep what you have if you're chosing between these.

What's wrong if it is same as stock, with more filtration?? Isn't that still an improvement?? You can't re-use your stock filter. And the stock filter doesn't suffer from over flow to begin with that's why there are no proven significant gains from any drop in replacements! So what's the problem?

So just cruising through the page of your posts so far on this forum, and it appears all you are here for is trying to promote your product!
