I just got my Kinetix V+ Plenum
but before i install it...i was thinking of painting it gloss black like i did to my stock plenum...

I just hate how the plastic material its made out of looks so dull...

but am i going to be able to use just a normal high temp paint like i did on my OEM, or will i need something special because of the material? or should i just leave it alone all together?

I ended up painting mine as well, but kept a red theme going in my engine bay. Basically all the little shapes that pop up I painted Gloss Red. I also painted the kinetix logo but ended up using some touch up paint to paint the lettering Black.
1 suggestion though, i would recommend Shooting some Clear coat (high Temp/engine paint) over it with a couple layers and then wet sanding that and polishing to get rid of the orange peel.
Looks really good though!
