I've did searches and there still isn't a good answer on which exhaust to buy. For everyone that has gone the exhaust route if you were to do it again what would you get?
One more thing why can no one talk about the Z magazine on this board? We qoute C&D, Motor Trend, etc all the time. As soon as someone talks about their exhaust test everyone shuts up?

 

I do not understand that myself. They say they will post something on their site, but it hasn't happened. Even though I've already done my exhaust. I'd like to see the results and how the test was conducted.

nismo's too expensive, stillen's too expensive and heavy (the torque and x-pipe is nice though,) and injen's angled tips r hideous. that kinda left only the borla for me, as far as exhausts that may actually add hp.

 

what about that GHL exhaust what happend to that one?

i dont think that they are
hideous , just a little different. When i first put them on, i got mixed reviews from others as well as myself. Now that i have had it on for about a month, i love it. the sound is great mixed with the injen cia, the power is noticable, and the look is at worst different . just my .02!

 

yeah, it's a good exhaust, and it had good gains. i just go for the stock look (ie borla, stillen.) i also heard the injen was loud when compared to the latter, so that was another negative. a little too flashy for me .

 

How about the HKS true dual exhaust? anyone has any idea about it.

 

A while back, I e-mailed HKS about this, no reply.

 

I got the Stillin. I love it, I don't really know about the weight, but I could feel a difference in power and the sound is real nice, not obtrusive though. I'm tottaly happy, just ya got to be willing to fork out the $$$, but good things aren't ever cheap, well, besides the Z.
