Wow what a great item description. Sounds like a damn 9th grader came up with this device:

" Once inside the tube it creates swirling air motion, allowing the air to move faster and more efficiently by continuously whirling air around corners and bends."

Why the hell is he selling it on Ebay? I would have gone to the car manufacturers and proposed it to them and then became rich! But maybe he's just a selfless human being only trying to help out the little people.

I heard that the inventor of the Air Razor was murdered by the government. It was car accident but I think we all know the truth.

All it will do is impede airflow. It doesn't work. (in fact, the test I saw with it had the intake catch on fire...don't ask)

It may look sketchy, but the feedbacks state otherwise. Maybe it actually works??

A guy ran an independent test on the Turbonator - which is for all intents and purposes the same product as this - and he actually lost somewhere around 3 horsepower. I contacted the idiots that run that company and made them give him his money back once he showed them the before-after dyno charts.

Regardless of what the "feedback" says, it's a load of crap that makes no engineering sense

These stupid vortex generator things are a huge scam.

Most of them actuall *lower* power output and mpg. I believe Motor Trend did a study like two years ago.

is that news real? The kid can't even seem to be able to install the damn thing in. He kept struggling with the airbox but never put it in since the beginning of the clip!

^ lol I noticed the same thing. Maybe that engineer that said he did not believe it before and changed his mind after he saw it helped him put it in.

ya, wonder where the kid got the idea....maybe from autozone since they carry the turbonator (or whatever that company is called that makes the air "swirl" in the intake).

you think a national news station would have checked into that.

edit: if all it took was putting this cheap piece of metal in the intake of a car why wouldn't all the manufacturers that aren't meeting EPA requirements doing this to get through testing? oh ya, because it doesn't work....
