Default Tanabe Medallion--- Does it make power?

Recently i've read people saying that tanabe medallion (not hyper and not racing) exhaust actually causes HP loss? Can anyone who has one confirm or deny this? Dyno sheets?

Thanks

Also I know all N/A exhausts gains are minimal, I just want to make sure I'm not losing power if I decide to go this route.

I'm assuming you are talking about the Medalion Touring? While I can't comment on the Tanabe, I have a very similiar exhaust, the Apex-i WS2. Apex-i claims 7 h.p. and 10 torque. I can feel the difference, but I added a Stillen Y-pipe at the same time.

EDIT: Here's some great pics/review of the Tanabe

I don't think you will LOSE HP going from stock to any of the Tanabe Medalion setups. I have the Medalion Hyper and absolutely LOVE it. I went from an Injen TD, not from stock so I can not compare directly to stock.

I have the super hyper and love it. With the Tanabe y pipe the setup becomes expensive but worth it imo..

Had the hyper touring and Y pipe, changed to motordyne and gained almost 10hp.

Here's one I pulled from their site. There's a video and graph all the way on the bottom.
