Go with a Greddy EVO TT setup. It's big enough to breathe for FI and it's quiet. A little bit deeper than my EVO II. You can also switch (assuming you have them) from TP's/HFC's to the stock cats. Might lose some power but you will deff notice a difference in the exhaust setup.

Save up and do it right. If you have enough to TT your G/Z and afford the gas mileage that comes with it then you can afford a new exhaust setup. Maybe even go to the regional section and trade for someone who has a quieter setup like the Greddy TT I suggested.

No problem. I'm not familiar with Canada. Is Quebec East or West? If it's East then they have a pretty busy regional section. You can post a WTT thread there. Here's the link:

Dude, you can go to any muffler shop and have them weld in a resonator. I've had this done on 2 of my previous cars.

^+2 However, this then starts defeating the purpose of having the aftermarket exhaust. What is the point of having a greddy exhaust when you are going to replace the resonator and muffler???

I reckon replacing your straight pipe would solve a majority of the noise issue. If you like to the keep the free flow, then consider getting a high flow performance cat. But adding a resonator doesnt reduce the noise as much as adding a cat.

It looked like he said he had a greddy exhaust setup. Isnt that what his second post says to nismo? Regardless, I dont know what greddy supports, I dont think that was the point of his post.

The point I was making was that cats have the biggest affect in exhaust noise. Adding another resonator might not be enough. It all depends as to what he considers too loud. I've seen straight pipes with 2 resonators with a muffler and I think some of them are still loud.

Cats are the law, it keeps bambi alive and he's complaining about noise. Why wouldnt you consider it???
