Ok... here's my experience with this. Great add but........ I put it on with the upper and lower intake plenums and (as the instructions tell you) you have got to place spacers on your strut bar to elevate it over your new taller intake. Fine. No problem. BUT.... with my bar lifted, my hood wouldn't close. No problem. I like the 07-08 hoods better anyway. So I bought a new hood for my 05 so the strut bar can clear the engine and wont hit the hood.

.... But great power gains. I have upper and lower intake manifold plenums, the spacer, cold air, and headers. The sound the car makes is better than sex. I did all of this for under 2 grand. Paint and installed.

Just read the link (you have to click on it ) and pay special attention to the numbers. Those are the 2003-2006 and stuff like that.

We first talked about the plenum spacer 33 months ago. You have a bit of catching up to do.

Powerlab has the cheapest spacer that is well respected. The Skunk 2 spacer which is larger, does give gains and while some say they are better than the 5/16 or 3/8 spacer, most people will tell you to go with motordyne or powerlab.

I myself purchased a powerlab because it's the biggest size you can go on the stock strut bar, actually some say even that the skunk2 spacer will rub against the hood.

Come give the guy a break! He is new just like you and might not fully understand the search icon and how it can help. I have been here over 5 years and am still willing to help out new and existing members. With only a week under your belt who the hell are you to join the elete search police?
Be willing to offer a link or your own know how! It only betters us all with not having to be ripped on when we post!

I have yet to put it on actually since my car got hit and one side is being re-painted right now. I bought the spacer and about 500 bucks of other odds and ends to put it on when i get it back Tuesday. I can tell you then though because that sucker will be on the first day.
