Funny you mention that, mine is so loud right now that I have to sometimes shut the car off and roll into my little apartment garage depending on the time of day. Idle is pretty quiet when its warmed up. But a cold start sounds like a small Cessna plane starting up...lol

Also to add, I will be taking before and after videos of it.
Motordyne Dual Shockwave with Resonator on ypipe and Berk HFCs. Basically the same setup Rob has. So it should sound the same. But it's always good to have comparison videos with different cameras too. Install is planned for this Saturday if I receive it.

From what Ive seen/heard ON the net the Shockwave is wayyyyy loud for a daily driver and has alot of drone. I am torn between the Bassani and Gamma myself but for the price I can get Bassani ($960) with TP's (Megan/Berk/APS $160-$220) for Less than Dual Gamma catback ($1500).....The MD exhausts do look like very nice stuff but its sooo damn expensive, Id have to have a big difference between the two in sound and performance to pay and extra $500

How about quality as a difference? And the shockwave is not all that bad for a daily, but I wont lie, its not for the faint.

From what Ive heard the Shockwave with HFC's is retardedly loud and has some nasty drone (FROM an OWNER of the system)....Your saying that the Bassani is bad quality and the MD is $500 better just because of the build?? Ive read hundreds of posts from happy Bassani owners who say you just have to make sure you install the rear pipes straight, no real biggie, just gotta make sure you line everything up right, I spose an extra couple mins of my time under the lift making sure everything goes in perfect is worth $500 in my pocket lol...Im not ******* the MD system by any way but I just think $1500 for a catback exhaust is pretty damn steep....

I understand the issue of cost. Its a real factor for many consumers.
In the of case the Motordyne exhaust systems the cost driver is in the quality of components and workmanship.
There is also the variability factor. From the loudest (Shockwave) to the quietest (VQ) there is a high degree of system interchangeability. Single or dual, you can change from one sound, or system, to another without having to change your entire system out.
