I have been considering some test pipes and doing a lot of reading on them. I read in a few places that it is in violation of federal law, and I read one post that said there is a maximum fine of $4,500 or 30 days in jail for tampering with or removing an emissions device....

Does this **** actually happen? I live in an area that is WAAYYY overpopulated with cops and they are always on the lookout trying to bust someone's ***** for anything they possibly can. I want to make sure I wouldn't be screwed if I get them

What part in ATL do you live in? Yes there are alot of cops but if you dont do anything out of the ordinary they wont mess with you. Ive never been stopped ever by a cop. *knocks on wood

I had a cop say I had a nice car once...but usually if there happens to be an abudance of z's in your area you don't have to worry... There use to the sound. I'm running test pipes with my hks hi power. The sound is a little on the lower side (compared to most). Just as long as your not teaming test pipes with fart cannons you should be ok. Just don't have any "ricer" mods like an abnormally large wing to attract attention to you, you should be fine

 

Haha seriously how are cops gonna know u have test pipes, they anit gonna look under ur z if u get stopped!!!
