Hey guys, I just got a nismo CAI as a gift, sound wise which is better? are they both really close in sound? im sure performance wise the nismo has the endge due to the CAI vs engine bay air from the popcharger....

but sound wise are they both as "LOUD" sans the wistle from the popcharger?

 

The NISMO has more of a JDM sound. Jim Wolf is from California so it has a California sound.

 

I've had both.

I prefer the NISMO, it allows you to hear the engine better and less of the suction noise from the intake.

I also think the NISMO looks much better since it replaces all of the intake piping.

 

OMFG are post going to get more and more lame.
