I have Stillen cat-back exhaust with Strup test-pipes. The exhaust has been installed by a decent muffler shop. Every time I run over bumps or rough area, it feels like the exhaust is bouncing because of all the funny noises coming from the back. I let a local shop check it out, and it is very well secured. My friend and I had checked the spare wheel area to see if there are any loose parts, and we couldn't find anything.

Has anyone encounter this problem before? I'm doubting that it is the exhaust because it has been checked couple times. My car is 85000 miles now, could it be because of the suspensions?

Please give me any possible reason, so I can get it checked. Thank you.

 

Check the passenger side of the rear sway bar. It could be hitting it there. Its a tight area.
