Default Injen SES exhaust y-pipe to h-pipe?

Preparing to be flamed, but I noticed my Injen SES (angled tip) exhaust uses the stock y-pipe not like the newer Injen SES (straight tip) versions. What i was wondering was, can i put the Injen h-pipe from the newer straight tip version onto my exhaust setup? Does it bolt up in the right places? I sent an email to Injen but its been a few days with no reply so I threw the question out on here thanks. It seems like the route to be done on here is to fab a Magnaflow x pipe onto the Injen exhaust setup but I would really not want to bother with this if the newer H-pipe bolts on directly in the same place. Also anyone know where to buy the Injen h-pipe from the newer setup by itself? Seems like its only sold with the whole true dual catback. Thanks!

You have a Injen Super SES Cat-Back Exhaust System with a Y-pipe? Where is the Y? Photos please.

It's the older angled version before the straight tip new version. It merges into one pipe to connect to the stock y pipe. I'll post pics in a bit I'm busy tonight with work.

sorry for the crappy pic it's the only one i have on the computer. Yes I know it's spelled exhaust and not exsaust lol. As you can see, it converges into one pipe which allows it to be attached to the stock y pipe.

That's not the stock y-pipe that its connected to... or atleast that's not what the end/start of the stock y-pipe looks like.

Sorry for the confusion. it's just a picture from after the stock y pipe if you can understand that. The y pipe is not in the picture. It's just all the parts after the Y pipe. But you see how it converges into one pipe? It converges to connect to the stock y pipe.

I had the same exhaust years ago and it was a true dual setup. Like the pic Davidv posted.

Mmmhm I'll take one from underneath the car since it's on there. The pic I showed you guys was actually my friends exhaust, he has the exact same setup since we bought it at the same time.

Sorry guys this is the best I can show you. My car is too low to fit on my friends' shop lift and a good picture can't be taken from underneath the car for the same reason. The picture basically gives the right idea though. Davidv the piece you were requesting to see is the one I pointed to in ??? in the paint image. Looking at your photos, your H pipe deletes that and the stock Y pipe which is exactly what I want.

I do not have a H-pipe. Nowhere do Bank #1 and Bank #2 exhaust gasses mix.

I know what you mean it's technically not an H-pipe..but Injen describes it as one on their website. It's more like a "dual y-pipe", and that's the part I want on my setup. I just want to know if it bolts right up onto the older SES setup.

There's the link I was referring to when they call it an "H-pipe". If you look at the pictures it's a dual y pipe and not an H pipe but whatevs.

K. Just got a reply back from Injen. It was a one off that they made for the production stages and it ended up being left on the prototype car (friend of a friends car). So basically it's the first Injen SES exhaust for the 350z haha I thought it sounded different than other Injen's I sat in..

1st Injen SES (Angled tips) = seperate, true dual (no H, X, anything) totally seperate

2nd Injen SES (straight tips) = seperate, true dual (no H, X, anything) totally seperate

3rd Injen SES (straight tips, 2nd version) = H-pipe before resonators

4th Injen SES (track edition- straight, Ti tips) = H-pipe before resonators

Today = All 4 of these exhaust have been discontinued.
