Default Motordyne VQ Exhaust

I've searched and cannot find anyone who has purchased, installed, and dynoed the Motordyne VQ exhaust. Do I just have weak search skills or has no one bit off one yet?

Thanks,
Justin

Go on youtube and type in the motordyne and they have there own user accoutn with the name of the company. There is a G35 on dyno which sounds very nice but price is way to high in my opinion.

The VQ exhaust doesn't seem to be as popular with the typical Z owner (ie a young, testosterone crazed male). The VQ isn't loud.

I wasn't able to find a good dyno comparison with it but I've got one ordered and am waiting for MD's fabrication to catch up with their orders. I won't be able to do a same-day, back-to-back dyno as I was hoping however. I just don't have any spare time right now.

Maybe Tony from MD can point you to one.

Yeah...my testosterone only kicks in a couple days a year now...I just want a well built exhaust with a little more sound that makes decent power. I really like the gains of the Shockwave, but just can't do it. Plus I'm concerned about getting by at Laguna Seca with the db limits. But I have no idea what, if any, aftermarket exhaust is too loud for that track.

Thanks,
Justin

For the Motordyne VQ? Please provide a link....I can't find it. Plenty of Shockwave/Gamma/Single/Dual but I see no VQ.

Thanks,
Justin

Stands for Very Quiet , i almost got one but went with the Gamma instead. VQ or Gamma you can still bolt the shockwas tail section on really easy for all out performance when you hit the track. It takes me about 3 minutes to swap to the shockwave for trackday use.

dhays,

Let us know how everything goes after you get the VQ exhaust. Even if you can't dyno, some pics and a review would be more info than we have now.

Good luck,
Justin

I'm still waiting on my VQ exhaust axleback from Motordyne to be shipped. When I finally do get it, I'll let folks know what it is like.
