Default SG Motorsports Longtube Headers w/ Bassani Catback Thoughts....

Ok so I don't have a Z just yet but I was trying to find the best performing/best sounding exhaust setup. I originally wanted to get NISMO headers, Megan Racing testpipes, and NISMO catback. But after seeing just the gains from the SG Motorsports longtube headers without cats and I also seen the decent gains from the Bassani catback. I figured it would be a better match up. I plan on staying NA and just getting as much power as I can with bolt-ons.

Any thoughts on how this setup would perform and sound? I want the VQ gurgle to be highlighted like with the NISMO setup, not a high pitched F1 sound.

Why a fail? What's wrong with what I asked? I know they aren't for sale just yet, but by the time I've got enough cash put back to pay for all this they should be. (a little less than a year from now?) As long as they're not much more than NISMO headers I'm confident I could swing it considering the HP increase.

Although pricing isn't set...
Headers will set you back over double what most catbacks cost especially if you don't self install.

If you need a year to save for a used z, I highly doubt you will have the $ to spend on SG longtubes.

You should buy the dam ride first, then worry about modding...

Pipe dreams ftl!

basically what I am saying is - and don't interrupt me - is that you will never scrape the money together to afford these headers, let along a full exhaust system.

so this thread is not only premature but an absolute waste of time since these headers don't exist yet.

so, way to
