Default Injen Cold Air Intakes bad Idea ?

I'm thinking about getting the Injen cai's for my HR but I'm worried about water getting sucked in. Is this a real concern? Anyone have these on their HR?

I have stillen G3 intakes (pretty much the same design) and have had no water intake issues. an occasional impact with a few drops of water will do no harm. you pretty much have to be in a foot of water for water to begin to be sucked in.

.... and i dont think anyone's that dumb to drive into a foot of water in their Z?

Default injen intake down side

Well im just saying this from expierience. i got a touring z wit an injen full cold air and the other day we had some realll nasty rain and it pretty much sucked i so much from being on the highway that it shut the car down after 2.5 grand so i was dranny shifting and actually stopped at a gas station and tied a garbage bad on my grill to block water from hitting the filter. other then that one time its been the best $400 bucks i spent on that

The subject is about 6 years old. If you leave the intake as is, I guarantee it will be water-free. That’s a fact.

when i had these intakes i had no problem at all in the rain. Just use common sense when driving in the rain and avoid huge puddles. you should get them.
