Default Whats the best exhaust for racing?

LOL jk jk

Ok so heres the deal. My car is 100% stock. Im going to buy the pop charger along with a plenum spacer to see what real gains it makes together. Since a friend of mine just got a dyno. So I get a pretty good deal.

Now my question is I'm going to actually buy the Megan Long Tube headers since I see no one has really proof that they make gains. For me to do this should I wait to buy a decent catback exhaust? Or would the stock one work fine?

The intake, and headers dyno will be different days.

When I do this i will update everyone on the results. I just want to see if anyone had suggestions.

So should I post results of before, and after untuned? Or wait to get tuned? Also does the car have to be tuned with just the intake, and popcharger?

Clearly the louder the exhaust the more power it makes.......obviously.

Damn you never get old lol.

Actually when I had the car I never wanted to really mod it since I figured bolt-ons are a waste on this car. It was more of a daily driver since I sold my 300zx TT, and 71 malibu.

Now that a buddy is giving me a pretty good deal on getting it dynoed since he just got one not to long ago, i said why not. Might as well see what kind of gains the cheap headers will actually do.

Motordyne is a badass exhaust. Would I spend the money on it for a de motor? No I wouldent. unless i was F/I.

ha ha. Just keeping an eye on you. Not sure about Megan reliability. Would hate to be replacing headers 10,000 miles from now because of cracks.
