this is true, i guess i was too broad in my last statement...Technically you can consider it a rebadged Fuji system but i know they are completely different builds.

Totally agree with you OP you need to ask questions on here because doing searches you get very inconsistent answers and end up not getting any difinitive info. Back to your post - just go for it if I was you. The nismo exhaust sounds amazing and you will NOT lose low down torque only gain torque and power. Tony at Motordyne or Adam at Z1 is an expert on this issue and has dyno proven a 3" exhaust will never lose any torque or power any where in the rev range if the tubing is after the Y-pipe (as is the case with the nismo) nor will a true dual system which is even more freer flowing. You do not need an ecu reset. However if you want to get the most out of your exhaust get a remap (such as UPREV) because the stock ecu is restrictive plus the remap will allow 100% open throttle as opposed to ~80% which leads to increased response however at most you will only get around 6-8 whp with a single midpipe exhaust like the nismo. I personally want sound and power so am going for a Motordyne true dual system which has been dyno proven to produce ~17whp and ~15 lbs/ft torque (just from the system alone, there's a thread on here) and then remap to get even more.

Well, sorry if I misunderstood the intent of your comment. It sounded like you were inferring that they were recommending a product because they happened to be a vendor for that particular brand.
From personal experience, I can assure you that with these two guys, that is not how they do business.
Again, sorry if I read something into your comment that was not intended.

Ehh, i "kinda" ment it like that. But like everyone in this thread has said, exhaust is exhaust, it's not gonna make or break ya so it really doesn't matter.

Nothing personal towrds any one company or person though. But i do believe, IN GENERAL, that a vendor or comapny isn't gonna claim anything "bad" about their products. So IF a certain exhaust did have any loss in HP or Torque, i highly doubt a vendor is gonna state those losses. Obviously the gray area being each driver's other mods and how everything tied together works with said product, and dyno that is used, etc.
For example Ford isn't gonna produce a car that's comprable to the Z and claim how it "almost out performs the Z". They would just say nothing at all in that reguard. And let people find that out on their own AFTER they buy their car.
