Default Single Exhaust for Track

I'm looking for a single exhaust setup purely for the track (i have the Fujitsubo Legalis R for the street). The main criteria is flow, weight, and low cost. The 2 main contenders at the moment are the agency power, and the AAM 3 inch single. I ruled out the greddy because it has a midpipe muffler, and i would prefer a straight through pipe.

Anyone know of any other singles at a good price.

The JIC ti is a nice piece. Very light. But it's a Y pipe back. So you will still need a Y pipe if you want to get rid of the stock Y.

^ thats right......meh, good catch MNGuy.....

you would need to spend more on a ti Y pipe and would probably make the other options you listed more appealing..

You can trade for mine. I just got an exhaust ticket and I'm considering trading it away.

I have the Greddy SP2 paired with Berk HFC's...

Im looking to get an aftermarket y pipe then do what pepper in your eye posted...

I plan on having a single fabbed up then bumper tuck, i always wanted a bumper tuck but i couldnt cause i had a hitch for my autoX trailer, i got rid of that hitch and now have a hidden hitch that allows bumper tuck..

I love my MotorDyne single exhaust with the megaphone. It's nice because it's on v-band clamps, so you can swap out the center section to suit your own needs (straight pipe, resonated pipe, cat pipe).

We did a pretty thorough write-up of it here: http://www.zcarblog.com/2009/07/06/u...-and-vids.html and here: https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...e-exhaust.html

I was going to get the MD single but decided to go with the JIC. The MD single just looks so hardcore.

The sound is pretty hardcore as well. For performance alone though, I think it is hard to beat. I've got it for AutoX and have a quiet axleback for DD.

I bet it works pretty well. I would have got the MD single, but found a pretty good deal on the JIC so I went with it for the weight savings. I do sometimes wish I would have went with the MD though. Hardcore is good.

The MD Shockwave is def hardcore. I just finished installing test pipes and now my car is insanely loud. Within 20 minutes of installing it my friends neighbor called the cops on me lol.

Cool. I'll be running the fujitsubo Y-pipe, so the exhaust only has to be y-pipe back.

Hey pepper, is that ti? It looks custom.

edit: Just saw the MD exhaust, and i'm not a huge fan of the conical tip.
