Waiting on shipment of the tdx.

 

Is the FI TDX a Y pipe configuration as well? I'm really thinking about switching out my Borla for a Y Pipe and single exit set up, but I want a 3" Y pipe instead of 2.5".

 

For whoever cares. I should have my TDX V2 installed on Monday. There will be pics and video, of course. However, I'm on the fence about before/after dynos. I'm already getting a discount, so the ~$100 fee isn't going to get reimbursed via any new discount. Effectively, it would be data for just Motordyne and everyone on here. If it's wanted badly enough, though, I'll succumb to the peer pressure.

my shipment got delay i was suppose to get my TDX friday but it got hold up in custom for clearance........ ONAGAO... cant wait for the result since u and i have 06 and all motordyne bolt on kit.. cant wait to see the result on the dyno

 

Would like to know more information about ground and sway bar clearance with the new TDX v2 system. Please post pictures of pipe going over the sway, clearance from resonator to ground, and axle-back pipe alignment. I have to make a decision. Thank you.

Okay, I'll keep this short:

My TDX V2 came in today. Chris at Failsafe (see above) installed it like a champ. It's a beauty to look at, and absolute sex to hear. Especially with the ART Pipes. I think I might have put over a hundred miles on the car today just so I could listen to it. I should have a thread up sometime tomorrow evening, depending on how my time looks. Unfortunately, it will not include dynos - the scheduling was rough, funds were limited, and the guy who said he was going to buy my Stillen Exhaust backed out as soon as I took it off... so funds were even more limited than I thought. Nonetheless, I'll have a thread with video clips, pictures, and impressions up tomorrow.

The clearance is perfect - no issues there at all. Looking underneath, the location of the muffler makes me a lot less concerned than I would with the other Shockwave ))) exhausts. Clearance with sway bars as well are perfectly fine. I have no rattling... nothing.
