I've listened closely at all RPM's and throttle positions and I've never heard a whooosh sound but I do know exhaust parts can sound (or interact) differently on different exhaust setups.
There are a few points at which I can sort of hear a bit of what sounds like little more than air flowing through pipes under light throttle (accompanied by the rest of the exhaust music). However, I wouldn't describe it as a "whoosh" by any means. Honestly, I've chalked it up to being frequency cancellation within the exhaust note, because these points are where there was previously a fair amount of nasty rasp and other noise of that kind. In any case, the sound is neither very noticeable nor undesirable, but probably just a function of the interaction with whatever specific setup one is running with.

Sorry, I don't have clips with the ART pipes on my Z.
Besides... there are 100+ variations of exhaust configurations possible. Which to do?
I like the Shockwave single because its so incredibly loud. I like the dual V2 because it has the really deep sound. Sometimes the VQ. And then there are the prototypes... Its always changing.

My fabrication shop is moving to a new facility this week. After they get straightened out in the new place I'll get the HR and VHR parts into production. I estimate ~3 weeks.

I should have thought of this previously. It would make a great comparison in addition to your current testing.
When you switched from cats to ART pipes it made good gains... this is to be expected.
You also have the resonated XYZ pipe on your Z correct? ...It would be good to see how your car would now perform with the XYZ HFC installed.
The XYZ HFC drops ~4 HP from either the XYZ resonator or straight pipe. It would be interesting to see a comparison of your old HFC's power curve Vs the XYZ HFC with ART pipes.
Both set up's would be with HFC's but now it would be a direct comparison of the Motordyne HFC setup Vs your prior HFC's.
Is this something you could do on the dyno?

Yes, cats to ART pipes = gain as expected. Check
I do have the resonated XYZ pipe on now, and could test the XYZ HFC as well, however, I never had other HFCs, just OEM cats, 2" open TPs, and now your ART pipes, so if we did a MD HFC in place of my resonated XYZ pipe, we could only compare it to OEM cats and the previous ABC 2" test pipes. If that makes sense, we could do that on the dyno this week.
