Does the Popcharger have any chances of waterlock?
I know that the CAI are somewhat prone to waterlock, but didnt know if the Popcharger did. The only reason that I am staying away from the CAI are for this very reason. Anyone?
No. And I'll be installing mine within the next couple of days.

According to Nissan Performance Mag it actually generates more HP than a CAI. At least in this configuration:

The Popcharger's filter is treated with oil just as the K&N filters are. I've been using a K&N filter for 10,000 miles now and have not had any problems.

Don't worry about waterlock.
to get hydrolock you need to SUBMERGE the filter, not just splash water on it, but submerge. for CAI that still means the front of your car is underwater, 6-8" deep.
for popcharger its no lower than stock, and your engine would be submerged, you would be sitting in water inside the car. youd not be worrying about hydrolock at that point.
