Default Top Speed Pro 1 Exhaust & Y Pipe opinions?

I been looking around at all kinds of exhaust systems for this car. Alot of them are just way to expensive.

I been looking at this exhaust for little bit. I like the looks, made 304 stainless steel, perfect fit, sounds good according to the many videos on you tube, and the y back exhaust and the y pipe which be a true cat-back exhaust is around $600, and places read it provides some gains.

My big thing is the noise. And for sure won't keep those stupid silencers on. The videos seen sounds amazing. And some are just simple cat-back and intake. I just don't wanna get tickets or be to annoying inside the car. I do want it loud so hear it coming down the road open throttle.

According to ebay sellers and Top speed that make it. Said that many people love it and won't have cop issues. They recommended me not to do headers or test pipes to keep noise down. Plus I don't headers heard not much gains for the money and most test pipes just make the exhaust sound raspy.

Does anyone of you have this exhaust? Any opinions would love?

Thanks!

I have this exhaust, with the stock Y pipe and can't imagine getting the top speed Y pipe. If your by yourself in the car it's not that bad noise wise, but when you have a passenger especially wife/girlfriend it's really annoying when trying to carry on a conversation. I also don't recomend this exhaust if you plan on driving super long distances bc the drone at 80 mph can get annoying really quick. But I love the exhaust, suits my needs and sounds awesome, however it does look a little out of place on a stock bumper.

I have the exhaust and love it also. Cabin noise is loud and you can never really get used to it, you just learn to live with it if you love the sound as i do. People will definitely hear you coming down the block. Never a need to call and say hey i'm around the corner, trust they will definitely hear you. I've been pulled over for no front license plate or other various things, and the cop always mentions the exhaust but I have never gotten a ticket for it. I have a friend with a Nismo exhaust and hates that his sounds so weak and mine sounds like a monster.

ur friend must not have test pipes. My Nismo set up was just as loud as my pro-1. People at zdayz n 07 said I had the loudest nismo exhaust they've heard.

I recommend that you:

a. Set a budget.
b. Decide what configuration is best for you. Single. Dual. One or two mufflers.
c. Listen before buying.

^What he said, everything else for me is stock too.

I'll reiterate that it's loud! None the less, it has an exotic sound that I can't part with . Mine fits fine, installed it myself... the only issue with fitment is my tips don't sit 100% even with each other.

A policemen mentioned to me that "tin cans don't count as mufflers around here" when he pulled me over for not having a front license plate, I don't think he would have done anything otherwise, or maybe it was a combo of the two that he didn't like? Anyways no ticket for the exhaust, I've had the police driving behind me lots before and none of them cared.

Man there's alot of positives on this exhaust but negatives. I wanted the exhaust plus y pipe.

The love the sound. The looks of it i like but sometimes see angles like don't seem right idk for this car. Biggest thing is the cabin noise. I want it to sound mean but not annoying.

I can get both parts for $620 shipped. Any other exhausts that price for full catback?

Can get a vote if you all would buy this again or regret it. I want to make sure. More opinions.

I just ordered a JWT Pop charger intake.

Thanks!

Can you order a 2.5" version anymore?

So inside the car isn't really that bad? Scale 1-10? Vibrate anything? Don't think looks to ricey for this car?

Also opinions about this exhaust- Invidia Q300?

Love mine and glad i got. As for the friend with the Nismo he didn't have with test pipes. and when we did install test pipes he had bad experience so he still has no test pipes. I'm sure it will make a diffrence, but i doubt they will be as loud as mine.

honestly I would recommend this exhaust to anyone that wants it. I have an older version (2.5" piping) and not the newer 3", the sound difference is vast comparing my car to another local with the 3" (gibbs), honestly as far as drone goes, yes it does but it is not unbearable. Buy the exhaust, I personally will be picking up their testpipes soon.
