Are there any exhausts that particularly maintain and amplify that "howl" or hollow sound that the Gs and Zs can be recognized by. I'm pretty certain that whenever someone refers to the "exotic" nature of the stock exhaust they are referring to the howl and not the deep and burbling noise that the ricers tend to go for.

Yeah its like a speed boat on land is what my friends compare mine to its get even better with test pipes .
Call up tony the owner they have a ton of variations between not so loud and the retarded slap yo momma loud like the shock wave .

I just got a Fast Intentions Carbon cat-back. Like people have been saying, fairly quiet (in-cabin) at cruise and pure sex on the throttle. However, I must admit, I'm getting a bit of in-cabin drone/hum at low rpms. Mainly when accelerating from a roll or navigating a parking lot, 2100-2400 rpms. The resonance/hum is quite intense. I hope I get used to it. I love everything else about the exhaust. Great guys at Fast Intentions, fast email response, exhaust is made to order. Took me about two months to get mine (charged my card at shipping). Here are the sounds clips that sold me on the exhaust (not my car):
