WTF it took you 1.5 hours to take off your upper plenum?

It should take no more then 20min.

hes talking about the two coolant hoses that go into the stock plenum, but not into the new kinetix plenum. All the "coolant bypass" is is a little metal nipple to connect both of the two hoses together, you can get one at any autpart store or even home depot..

It looks like this. The one that comes with Kinetix is Metal and looks goldish

Kinetix will RUSH you one if you didn't get it. It is a brass "90" but the manual states it is a "stainless steel bypass". You can pick one up from Lowe's or Depot , but just make sure your old clamps will fit on or you may want to change them out to some torque-down clamps.

As to it taking an hour and a half..... gettign the plenum off is no problem, it having to deal with those pesky 5mm torque bolts that hold the throttle body in place. I made up a few "choice words" before they finally broke free. Hope you get things in place and make sure to have it re-tuned for the new air-to-fuel ratio. You WILL feel the difference!
