Stainless steel is the standard material for a Muzzy exhaust system. In most cases a stainless steel system weighs about 12 pounds. The optional material, titanium weighs a little over half as much as steel yet is stronger. The average weight of a titanium system is about 7.5 pounds. For comparison, stock systems can weight from 20 to 35 pounds. Generally the design is the same for both the titanium or stainless steel, so the power output is the same as well. Titanium systems are more expensive because the material is more expensive and the welding involved is a strictly controlled TIG process. Both stainless steel and titanium are better materials than mild steel. Titanium, due to its' light weight could be called a better material than stainless steel.
Also from your google search in regards to light weight... "I dont think I'd buy the Ti even if I had the money. Unless your really serious about drag racing and keeping it with an exhaust."

I honestly don't care what you buy. I was simply refuting your claims of "they're the same but the MR is half the price" posts. I was attempting to explain the differences between the exhausts, which I did, yet for some reason it didn't sink in and you and the other guy took it more personal than intended. All I stated were the facts about titanium vs SS. The difference in the metals are the primary reason for the cost difference. It's that simple.

So prove it...show me anything that states that SS is a better material than Titanium. While you're at it, why don't you post up pics of your car with your MR exhaust.

Yes! READING is a really good start when you perform any kind of research and when you're trying to educate yourself on something. They do that where you're from right? READ?

Wow, I didn't mean to start an argument. I'm just trying to figure out which exhaust to buy.

I like the look of single exit, angled out muffler. I like the sound of the Agency Power but I don't think the purple can will look good with my daytona blue paint. I like the Apexi ExTi but I can't justify spending $1000 on a single exit system. What other options are there?

How about the Greddy Ti-C?

actually guys you can just aircraft strip the ap muffler, the can and have a ti bare can. haha don't have to rock the purple unless you like it. but everyone thinks it's burnt. its just hi temp paint. but since you megan racing supporters know so much about the ap exhaust, now you know something you didn't.

as stated above, if you like the agency power just buy it and goto walmart get a can of aircraft stripper. spray it down and let it sit 10 minutes. wipe down and repeat till all paint is gone.

Thanks, I don't think I would feel comfortable doing that but I'll keep that in mind as an option. What about my question earlier? Are there other similar exhaust systems? (N1 Style muffler, angled out, single exit?)

why not?? it will just look like a jic ti after that. its ti, not gonna rust. yes there are similiar, i have had the jic, aam, greddy, agency power in singles. greddy and aam sound just a like. jic has a sound all to itself, which sounds damn good. ap also a sound all of its own, but i prefer its sound best. I have heard others but these are the ones i would stick with. Just my opinion. Sounds clips really do not do any exhaust well online. but it does give you a nice idea.
