Default 30% off Magnaflow exhaust on Amazon

I came across this deal on slickdeals if anyone is interested. 30% off Magnaflow exhausts on amazon. I don't know anything about their exhausts but I thought some of you may benefit from this deal. Just for kicks I added the cat back system in my cart and applied the coupon code. The final total came out to about $354 and some change.

i tried to use the coupon code on 2 different magnaflow systems that work for the Z. part #s 16784 and 15765 but both our sold by magnaflow and not amazon so the code wouldn't work. Which exhaust system did you get it to work on that would also work on our Zs?

This sale includes the magnaflow X-pipe that some people install to replace the H-pipe on the borla and other exhausts.

http://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-1138...2465554&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.com/MagnaFlow-1438...65268&sr=1-522

I've been looking at the past threads for these, it seems like either of these two work. I'm having a hard time discerning the difference between them. They appear identical on Magnaflow's website

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=11385

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/d...rtnumber=14385

I've got the 14385 in my cart right now, ringing up at $73 shipped, just waiting to see if I can get some previous users of both to confirm that they both fit.

Arnold K? Didnt you install the 11385?

Yes, I installed the 11385. But I had to have it welded to my Borla, because the inlet/outlets were the same size as the Borla's piping, so they didn't slip on. I'd imagine getting the X-pipe with 2.5" inlet/outlet would work better, since all you'd have to do is slip it on, crimp it, and seal it with clamps.

Either way, the X-pipe definitely added noticeable amount of low-end power.

I think i'd be more comfortable with the 2.25 still, I mean if they really needed to slip it on couldnt they just stretch it a little before installation. Seems like it would provide a more snug fit than an extra 1/4 inch crimped.

That being said. I"ll probably have it welded as well.

I used the code on part #15765 and it worked as of yesterday around 11am pacific time. At that time amazon was selling it directly, but it said they only had 1 left in stock. Someone may have picked it up. I didn't buy the exhaust myself. I just curious to see what the final price would come out to.

Edit: I also got a note from amazon saying the exhaust price went from $476.72 to $703.94 yesterday. Wow, what a difference a day makes.

I tried using the Injen discount on CAIs for the HR. Got a message saying the deal was over. Amazon is selling them for around $375. The discount would have brought it down to $259, which is an amazing deal. Oh well.

15765 is the better of the 2 magnaflow setups for the Z. don't get the single muffler one it's crap. the 15765 is pretty loud though, so make sure that's what you're after.
