Info: Well, yesterday my TDX arrived at the house. This is the forced induction version of the TDX. It has 3" piping throughout the entire exhaust with the x-pipe being the only point where the exhaust merges. The x-pipe is a 2 inlet, 2 outlet design vs. the N/A TDX which has a single inlet and dual outlets. I took my car over to my friends at HP Logic and put the car on the dyno for a "before" run. After letting the car cool for a while, myself and a couple buddies put the car on the lift and took off the APS 2.5" TD Exhaust. We installed the TDX in 30 mins tops and fitment was spot on.
Sound: I fired it up for the first time and.....WOW! Haha it sounds amazing! The best way to describe the tone is to say that it is a very deep and forceful sound. Now, two friends of mine (TheOtherRob and 350z Spd) have the Dual Shockwave v1. One of them has a Greddy TT set-up and the other is N/A. Both of them are loud with the N/A setup being the loudest. I was told that the TDX would be about the same volume as the Dual Shockwave....I must beg to differ. The TDX is significantly louder (at least at this point in time) than the Dual Shockwave with a Greddy TT. I wouldn't mind the volume but the drone while cruising is pretty loud. I may switch to the V2 but I'm slowly getting used to it so we'll see. In conclusion the sound is pure sex but a tad loud lol.
Look: Well, as with all Motordyne products I've seen, the craftsmanship (welds, polish, finish) was outstanding. The tips are huge (about the size of my stock Nismo muffler tips, maybe bigger) and fill out my gaudy rear bumper quite nicely lol.

1st ill say Congrats. I hope u didnt pay a lot for this exhaust. Reason is there is nothing special about it besides the Ti Tips. Im not trying to b a dick. I hope what u got out of it was more then u wanted. If I was TT I wouldv went a diff route.

Not much more than any other 3 inch exhaust and for the sound this provides vs. the others I've heard (the camera doesn't completely capture it), it was well worth it.

Thanks but it's my buddy's camera and photo. skills lol. Not sure what lens he had on it but I believe it has image stabilization. It was shot at 24FPS. Maybe he will chime in.

BTW blurring your plate in the pics was usless...You forgot to match move a black bar over it in the videos.

I've never ridden in a car with the evo tt's but I've heard they drone pretty bad. I'd have to agree that pretty much any 3inch TD exhaust would drone, although I'd be curious to hear this with the V2 axleback.

Thanks!
Update: I threw on the V2's and, as expected, the drone has been all but eliminated. It is a much smoother sound in the cabin and still screams up top. Thanks Tony.
