Default Replacing my stock exhaust. Is it worth keeping in storage?

Installing a Nismo exhaust this week and don't know what to do with the Stock exhaust. I dont have a lot of room in my place. is it worth keeping or is it garbage? Could I sell it on Ebay? how much is it worth? Let me know cuz I really dont want to keep it but I dont want to throw money away if I dont have to.
What do you think?

not worth keeping in storage if your paying for it... you wont get that much for it in the aftermarket world...

shipping will cost more then someone finding one at a junk yard...

not worth thea headache...

i still have the stock exaust on my back porche from my last car...

no one wants it...

im to lazy to bring it down stairs...

where are you gettin your nismo?

I am getting the Exhaust from Jeff at Performance. I am also installing the Nismo CAI. I have no idea what to do with the old exhaust. I'd gladly leave it with Jeff if it's basically not worth it.
I know you have the Nismo Exhaust and love it. I can't wait to get mine on.

on the flip side I would keep it.

the value of our z car's are plumeting (spelling) so if you ever sold it, it would be better to put the car back to stock to sell it and then sell any after market parts here (on this site) to make some extra money back but if you ever decided to sell the car.

if you plan on keeping it a while this excuse no longer works so throw the dam thing out!

I agree, leave the exhaust with Jeff. Keep your stock intake, though.

Actually.. NISMO exaust would do nothing but increase the value being a warrented nissan part..

take stock intake.. you cant give the car to a dealer on a trade with a CAI usually..

How big is it? I think I may have some space in my storage container.

I agree... dunno what I would do if I ever ordered a crawford plenum though... quite a hefty price to pay to keep the stock plenum

If your really lonely you could keep it in bed.
But that might be weird so why not find another spot of the house you can keep it in. Its not that big.

Got the Nismo Mods in, CAI and Exhaust. Took the old intake home and left the stock exhaust at Nissan Performance to pick up next week, the nice folks at the Performance shop let me leave it.
Want to thank everyone at Performance.
The car sounds pretty sick! I recommened the Nismo Exhaust. you won't be sorry.

Hey, thought everyone went to SEMA!
Well I guess I'll have to say what's up when I grab the old exhaust. I'll also be back to Performance in the future for more MODS!

Missed Jeff & Jenny too! oh well there's always next time!

The Exhaust and CAI are bada$$

BTW: my mpg reading is way high 33mpg right after the install.
is this a temporary misread that will self correct?

El Diablo congrats on the Nismo exhaust. I am installing my exhaust this weekend. Thanks jeff for taking care of my order from performance nissan. I am also going to add Random Tech hi flo cats as well. Konverter, thanks for the Nismo clips you did a while back. I studied the videos lika a mad man. O. I forgot. I am keeping my exhaust. I plan on keeping all my stock parts. You never know if the dealer will trip. Plus I may sell the car one day.

Yeah, they left me there to sit infront of the computer and process orders all day...

Your computer is adjusting to more air going through your system. It will re-adjust in time.

The random tech cats will be a very noticable gain for you. Will make the sound of your car a little louder too.

Next time you come down if Jenny and Jeff arent there I will be.

Glad you like your new Nismo stuff!

Words cant describe the Nismo/ Hi-Flo cats combo. I just came back in from a friends house(2003z) and we tackled the install. Car is way different in sound and how it acts. I have to find a way to do create a avi for this. Dyno to come in about a week or so.

Do the cats asap . It's bad dude. Just put it in before SEMA and I'm very pleased with the sounds. The interior cabin sound only went up 2 dB at 3000 rpm and is at only 94 dB all the way up to 120 mph with the Stillens and the Nismo is quieter. I like my stereo at 96dB so it doesn,t interfere with the tunes. Hp well it's a new car, and you know how fussy I am about my Z. I was a little bummed after the So Cal Dyno day but now the butt dyno and ear dyno makes me feel like the horses pulling in a row again. I know the big tires and heavy rims cost my 5-10 hp against the other guys. It felt slugish after I put them on.. I'll be dyno again iin the next couple of days to give the Numbers for the cats only.

Ps By the way keep ALL your stock parts. You well never know what Cal Smog will do. and the law reads if you modify the exhaust ,you'll have to replace the original exhaust regardless of cost , had major problems selling a BMW with headers a few years back .
If you have problems, with storage I can store it for you at the Gun range in my container. Give me a buzz. I'm going there tomarrow (909) 594-1525

Ron
