Best Exhaust system in the world or is it?
I will not argue with Kevin, online anymore.. He has tried this BS on other forums, and is only trying to smear my name/business. He was banned from my site, because he likes to PM my customers, trying to smear my name, or, sell them parts in an attempt to hurt my business. I allowed it go on for a long time, and, I've finally had enough of it. I am not here to argue with Kevin, however, I will state the facts as they pertain to my business.
I've been in business for almost 10 years, and I have built some of the sickest B15's in existance. Yes, I do work from home, and have done so since I lost my 4K square ft facility to Katrina in 2005. It was supposed to be temporary, but, I prefer it this way, as it's less stress, less overhead, and I get to spend more time with my family. You don't have to be in a huge building to build nice stuff. Why was this posted, Kevin? It has nothing to do with exhaust sizing. Also, why was my full name posted? Does that have anything to do with exhaust sizing, either? And, I never claimed that 60mm is the "best exhaust system ever". I'm not sure where you're getting that from.
Kevin's car has a 60mm (2.4") catback exhaust, and a Y-pipe from a VQ30, which has 2" primaries and a 2.25" merge, right before the catback. I used this setup for the first few years of doing VQ35 swaps, and never had a problem with it. I have gone 12.90's @ 105mph on bone stock VQ35's, with this setup. Most people have dyno'd in the 240-250whp range with this setup, a CAI, and shorty headers. I've done maybe 30 swaps with this same exact setup, and zero complaints. As of a few years ago, I started offering equal length y-pipe's with long tube headers. However, I have always used the 60mm catback, for the most part. Apexi, Greddy, etc.. all use this same size for a catback for this chassis. I've also used 3" on a stock VQ, and I do not find that it gives any sizeable gains on a stock motor. It's loud, and obnoxious, for very minimal gains. My customers typically prefer a quiet exhaust system. Is it the "best" system for EVERY car? No.. Is it good for a quiet exhaust system, with decent gains for a N/A VQ? Yes..
As far as the car that Kevin is refering to.. here is the customer's car in question..
VQ35DE swapped Spec V (2004) Forged pistons/rods, 11.5:1 C/R, C8 cams, ported heads, TS reflash, 8Krpm, SAME y-pipe and catback as OP's car.. This car went 12.29 @ 110.82mph, with full interior, and my 250lb @ss in the driver's seat, on 24.5 x 8 slicks cutting a 1.72 60ft time. I will post a video at the bottom of this thread to backup my claims. Also the car weighs in at around 3100lbs, with driver, as verified by my customer.

Before this pass, the car went 12.58 @ 109.6mph, on the very first pass, with a horrible 60ft time (bogged on the launch). I hot lapped the car, and went 12.42 @ 109.32mph. I parked the car, and let it cool off for about 45 minutes, and went 12.29 @ 110.82mph. The car weighs in at 3100lbs with me in it.. Trap speed does NOT lie.. It was cool outside, and low humidity, (Just under 60 degrees), so, I'm sure that helped as well, but, the car is fast.
I won't get into other issues with Kevin, as I'm not here to personally attack the guy, but, those are the facts.

What are you trying to prove dude? Nobody here gives a ****.
You've been a member on here since 05, have 1 itrader, and less than 200 posts.
GTFO and go advertise somewhere else.
This thread should be closed.

Not trying to prove anything.. Just defending myself against a personal attack. I have been here since 2005, and I haven't tried to sell much of anything. What's your point? I'm not advertising anything.. Do you see any 350z's or parts pertaining to a 350z, anywhere in my post(s)?
If you can say that, then, why not ask WTF is the point of this thread in the 1st place? The guy went as far as to put my full name in his post, and bash me.. so, that gives me the right to at least defend myself, does it not? I don't really care if you don't like what I had to say, or, you don't care about this thread.. It has nothing to do with you.

And no you didn't, but you felt the need to post a bunch of gay pictures not pertaining.
You're in LA, why don't you do something more productive with your time, like go swim in the Gulf.
I took them down.. relax..
Really? Grow up man..
