Dual 3" Straight Pipe Exhaust on HEAVY modded NA?
Searched threads about loss of exhaust velocity dropping the low end on an NA vehicle but here is my question anyway.
I am finishing my 03 Z for my baby brother. The engine is heavily modded with CAMs, Bore/Stroke, etc... CAI, Custom headers, UTEC, larger fuel injectors, and a Walbro with RF kit. Should I see a serious problem with a dual 3" exhaust. That is a dual 3" custom welded straight pipes all the way to HKS carbon cans on the back. I hate to pull that ***** off if I don't need to.
Also, the car MAY in the future get a SC thrown on the front if he can prove to me that he knows how and when to drive a car fast.
Any advice is much appreciated!

Have you considered using a system that has already been proven to make power? The dual 3 inch shockwave from motordyne might be a good choice. It's pretty expensive, but it sounds sexy as hell. I believe Gabe3d uses said exhaust in his 4.15L NA build, and makes awesome numbers.
Check out this custom 3 in dual system, its on a G sedan, but you would end up with a similar noise. Vids are near the bottom. Unfortunately there are no before/after dynos, but im sure your results would differ anyways, due to using a different fabricator.

Utec? Get uprev please.
And why a DUAL 3inch when a single exhaust will make about the same power, while costing and weighing less. In fact, you could unbolt the exhaust a few inches after the Y pipe, and it really wouldn't make a difference.

The dual is on the car already. This thing was TT'd making close to 700RWHP at one point. I parted out the FI portion of the build to give this car to my brother since I moved on to another platform. As long as power drop isn't significant I don't care to make investment in another exhaust or do the work. It's extremely high quality build and cost me about $2500 to do so I hate to just get rid of it.
I can't locate a dyno anywhere comparing numbers. I see some of you have done this, any dyno sheets to show the losses or just buttchecks?
Thanks!

Even a 3" single is a way to big. Go with a 2,5" single, max 2,75". I know, you americans like it big, but even a 2,5" true dual is fine for 750 hp TT Z. No need for 3" true dual till this power lvl.
