Sorry no photos. Wanted to put on so I could drive!

hahaha no, not showing it, but i am going with forced induction soon. that means that I need as smooth and evenly distrubuted flow as I can get. That was really the only thing I didn't like about the crawford was the inside.

It is very smooth. NA cars need this because they rely on how the path goes into plenum.

FI cars does not matter as much. turbos build big pressures in plenum goes wherever it wants fast. All differnt than NA. NA MUCH more important.

what are the hp and torque increases from this mod, I realize that Zs in Japan start off a bit lower so direct comparisons with other products may not be appropriate.

also what other parts you got to make the Z go fast??

Red face :P

Just thought I would point a something I noticed out just for kicks.

If you look closely at the pictures you will see that the intake tube is the same as US models... The Japanese models had an extra tube for silencing purposes. It almost looks like a US 350Z unless the tube was converted over Maybe it has the bigger US Air duct as well..

Anyways I'm still waiting for the individual to post that super post;P wink wink (ignore this part

I smell BS and it is not because of the above comment. I remember when someone else on this board was considered the major butt sniffer

Looks like y'all used a plasma cutter around the the edges and then added some shim-like aluminum spacer around the sides. Then I imagine it's just a bunch of welding, grinding, and polishing. Is this correct?

Didnt' Doug at Crawford already try this design in his initial experimentations on the flow bench?

Something seems fishy about this thread.

I hope it all proves true in the end, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sounds like he may be "sweetening the deal" so to speak. Possibly local to the US and pretending to be from Japan to make buyers feel comfortable paying more than they should. I'm sure Vic could figure out without too much trouble by the IP.

Also, as far as I'm concerned there is absolutely no proof of performance yet.
