I have had a pop charger for over a year or more. I have been very pleased with the sound and felt a slight difference in performance. I really don't have any negative comments about it.

No running lean? So I'm assuming you verified this by plugging in an ECU monitor and logged the performance of your car?

Had my logs from Osiris earlier in the year on my laptop. I don't have them anymore, because I got a new laptop, but I did my logs 2 days apart and the differences were quite noticeable between the two (in feel and by the numbers). Anybody you ask who's tuned a car or is a tuner (i.e.: UpRev) will tell you that intakes richens the mixture a lot.

Which is why I suggest getting a tune done if you're going to use an intake. Just my personal opinion from my own observations.

Edit: I meant richens, not lean out.

^

Your telling me any SRI will lean out the mix SO much that compensating w/enough fuel to match will be outside the ECU's stock working parameters??

I highly doubt that given what we know about the minute overall performance difference any intake makes on the VQ.

Any mod is going to cause the factory ecu to compensate one way or the other. I wouldn't be surprised if you saw a lean condition from an 03-05 when putting an 06 box and high flow filter on.......

Even bone stock the ECU is programed to run really lean, when you install an intake, the ECU adjust and still runs really lean.

Untuned dyno's stock or modded show an almost dangeriously lean condition.
