Don't mean to be an a$$, but how do you guys consider "ricey" fart pipe sound exotic????

Sorry, this is only an opinion (mine & many car enthusiasts I know, hmmmm)

 

Either your speakers are crappy (no bass?) or your definition of "ricey" fart can sound is way off base with everyone else? I listened to the sound clips at work on crappy speakers with no bass and the clips sucked because all you get is the high pitch and none of the deep rumble. Whatever though, it's all good because I love the sound personally.

 

No, actually my speakers are fine. I've heard the injen in real life & I cringe everytime I see that, but that's not the point.......

Your car is BAD A$$! I just don't feel it for the exhaust (personal opinion). You like it, thats all that counts......anyways

That sound is Niiiiiccccceeee! I don't know what others are hearing but it's a nice growl.

 

I know what you're saying- you either love it or hate it. Wheels are Volk TE37 gunmetal (19x8.5, 19x9.5)

 

Agree with all of the above. The big cannister exhaust never did strike me as exotic, nor did the sound of tin cans like the hondas put out. This exhaust is more throaty and deep in real life, but still too high pitched for me. The borla throaty deep rumble is my style.

 

I'm sorry, but I agree with this. Sounds too much like a ricer's fart pipe. Not really the "exotic" sound I was hoping for. This is just my opinion however and I don't mean to flame.

 

Finally got to hear the Clips.... That sounds alright. Does anyone who has an Aftermarket Exhaust have any clips???? Thanks.

 

I think that people forget that this is the sound that the ricers TRY to accomplish with miniscule results. I don't know if you any of you have heard the factory racers, but with all of their work and accomplishments, I don't think that they would think the sound is ricey either. The sound is that of a TRUE sports car, not some juiced up C!v!c or something. Remember that we already have the high performance cars, they are just attempting to make theirs like ours, so to me, I think that it is the reverse. They try too much to sound like us. Even the factory sound will attest to this. Just my .02 worth
