Um the blitz sus filter is terrible. You might as well really not run a filter at all.

He has a 2003 Mustang Mach 1 sorry, he would ask about the Blitz SUS Filter on the mustang forums but nobody really knows anything about Blitz parts on his forum. Thought i'd help him out and ask about that filter in general. The stock MAF screen is also off. Either he was gonna put that back in and modify it to the intake has now or just buy the Blitz SUS filter to solve the problem.

The air comes sideways into the filter from what I know and is a common problem with fords.Once he gets to speeds to about 80 MPH + the car begins to sputter and hesitate. We THINK MAF turbulence is causing the problem. Thanks for the reply Jeff, anybody else have any experience with this filter? Thanks for the help though Davidv, didn't ask for your direct opinion but go ahead and make a comment nothing?

he likely has turbulence because the screen is removed...that is no bueno from a tuning standpoint on most cars

best to keep it to the Mach 1 forums, or perhaps refer to a specialist tuner for those cars, as you can't expect most people here to be familiar with Mustang tuning
