Based on those numbers, looks like Flowmaster is the way to go.

You can put just a muffler on the car, Not sure what it would do..
If you want to just do that, then remove only the muffler and get a 12" mandrel bent tube to go from the single pipe out to the back and you will get more flow then if you were to put on a flowmaster and a louder sound

I see that Magnaflow has a full cat back system for around $550. Maybe that would work, but it's still a bit more that I can comfortably spend right now.
AREITU,
Thanks for the link, but isn't that the same as what's on this page: http://www.everything350z.com/exhaust.html
The link you posted is cool, but I don't read japanese so I have no idea what any of the things say on that link you sent. The one thing that has peaked my interest is about 3/4 of the way down the page on the right side there are some weird ports above the sway-bar. What's that?!?!

Like I said above, the muffler shop f'd up the y-pipe and it was a major chokepoint, so I now have a dual Borla and hollow cats instead.

I also have to vote for the RS-R. Almost everyone I know says it sounds awesome and EVERYONE I know says it's loud.
Even other Z owners approach me and comment on how awesome it sounds.

I have always used Flowmaster mufflers on all my cars with great results on the dyno so I am for sure going to have a new exhaust built with FM's
I also saw a 3" dual inlet/dual outlet 'camaro' flowmaster muffler on their site.
I am going to the guy who does my exhausts and see if he can do a real dual exhaust with it

thank god it's not going on your car...
that's the best think about customizing cars some jackass always has some sh*t to talk about what you want to do to your car, but only the dyno results will tell...

Yeah, I honestly thought of that, but instead I did this for a while. I made this website to show step by step what I did and put two sound clips showing the sound difference. I only ran it this way for about 2 days because it was TOO loud and fart-canish.

They're a Japanese company. I believe someone told me that they're one of the leaders in springs over there. I've got their GTII exhaust and I must say that I love this thing. I put in the silencers just so it'll be quieter, but that lasted maybe a day. The sound is just amazing.

Pro-1 makes a system very similar to the RS*R. Very loud w/ removable silencers. I have their system on my g35 coupe. I also installed one on SHIFT_Z's daytona blue Z about a month ago, and he loves the thing. Just got pix from another Z member that I'll post up whenever I get a chance. You can get the Pro-1 from either me or David Stoner who is a vendor for the forum.

I've also been wondering what those ports at the bottom were. I assume the smaller one is the stock one (and assuming you own a 350Z, you know what it is). I asked a friend of mine to translate tommorrow. I'll get back to you on that.
