Just traded my exhaust, and I'll need to drive about 120 miles while the other one is on the way. All I'll be running is the y pipe during that time, so other than a rediculous amount of noise, will it hurt anything running without a midpipe and muffler?

 

Just your ears, possibly you wallet if you get a ticket.

 

no it shouldnt hurt anything. just dont be gunning it and make sure when your cruising that you dont have it at a loud drone.

 

might want to wear ear plugs

 

Its going to sound like **** but the car will be fine, your ears wont. You're gonna be attracting a lot of ricers.

 

Maybe melt something by the ypipe exit under the car but there is a heat shield there. Ahh should be fine.
