I had one intake that was about .018 of an inch or .46 mm. So it was a fair bit out of spec and the others did require a lot of adjustment in the prior install. The tick was quite bad, my machinest suggested I take care of it but felt it was not required.

I had 3.9FD & nismo cams on my 03 G35 5AT and that car was VERY fun to drive

 

its got 3.5 gears, its 06, highest I'd probably go is 3.7... dont wanna drop my top speed too much.
