Default Did anyone know wuz that?

Picture taken from a chinese spec G37 Coupe

Did anyone know wuz that? It seems they sealed something like a throttle body on to the head of the Y Pipe so the driver can switch the exhause sound from OEM like to aftermarket like while keep using OEM Cat back? everyting else is OEM except the switch...

Thats interesting...

looks like an electric exhaust cut out to me. im going to order a set to put on my chevelle. it makes it so you can run your exhaust through the factory cat back or with a flip of a switch you can run open headers

Yep, looks like it. I always thought about adding those to my old mustangs, but never got around to that mod.
