Default Well...I'm back to stock. =(

So my Borla TD, Magnaflow, and ART Pipes are off. The ugly OEM crap is back on. I forgot how much I missed the purr of the OEM stuff. I noticed that the low-end responds a lot better, but that may be because I had an exhaust leak between the header and ART Pipe (it was loose, for some reason, and had a gap between the flanges). The exhaust leak would also explain why my car would feel weak when it was cold and then drive perfectly fine once heated up.

Anyways, yeah...top end feels dead compared to what I had before, even with the Osiris tune still in effect (haven't uploaded the stock ROM just yet). I personally believe most of the gains from this car come from the removal of the CATs and the tune. On my 370Z, my list of power mods will likely be less than what I had on the 350Z. I'll be reusing the Osiris, and my first bolt-on mod will be a set of resonated test pipes to the stock exhaust. Or, if Tony plans to manufacture ART Pipes for the VQ37HR.

I've noticed the test pipes on 370Zs add a ton of power, likely because emissions regulations have gotten a lot stricter since 2002. Oh, well. Just felt like sharing an observation. My 350Z is being traded in with the wheels, drop, my CCFL sidemarker lights, and the plenum spacer. The new owner of the car will surely be in for a treat.

I'm going to miss this car, but I do feel like I've had my fun with it. It's time to move on and baby a new Z.

ha ha

I went from a 350Z with headers, test pipes and cat back to a stock 370Z. At 50 MPH I can now hear the radio. Pretty cool.

Hahaha. Luckily for me, the Borla + ART Pipes combo was very quiet. Louder than stock, but still very quiet compared to the other exhausts I've heard, never had issues with sound. Though, Borla is very resonated.

I only listen to the exhaust when I'm cruising around town. Not when I'm on the highway when all I can hear is road noise and wind.

Why are you trading it in with the wheels and those other mods? I sure wouldn't!
