2008 Nismo Z Exhaust on a regular Z?
Has anyone done this successfully? I've done some searching to no avail.
I'm concerned about the length of the tips when installed on a non Nismo Z as the bumpers are significantly different.
Any pictures or advice is much appreciated.
Thanks!

If you're talking about an OEM system taken off a Nismo Z, all the pieces bolt on and are interchangeable. The OEM Nismo muffler is stainless, and has larger tips, but it's otherwise the same. No benefit/change in sound/performance, either, so I'm not sure I'd bother.
The Nismo S-Tune system is quite different. The S-Tune muffler will only bolt directly to the S-Tune mid-pipe, unless you fabricate an adapter to mate it with the original mid-pipe. But, the S-Tune mid-pipe will mate with an HR Y-pipe. I just went through all this last week:

The OEM Nismo exhaust (not S-Tune) is a direct bolt-on, but the muffler will be tucked higher up. Not sure if that would affect anything on a regular Z. If you look at the first three mufflers in this thread, you can see the difference between the Fujitsubo Muffler (Exact same as the Nismo S-Tune) and the stock OEM Nismo muffler. Muffler placement is the only difference. If the muffler can hang higher, with no clearance issues, you are good. Tips will be in the right location as well.
