Covering the exhaust with a spray sounds like a smart idea. Thanks for that thought! I know everyone wants to bang on this exhaust but I mean really they are metal pipes, thats it. People have had issues with 1,300 exhausts not fitting right, it can be fixed.

If you guys don't mind can you let me know where you ordered your x02 exhaust from?

I am also in Texas, and we don't really have snow. The chances of the exhaust rusting is low. If it doesn't effect performance I really don't mind. My nismo exhaust is already rusted, it came from up north.
With the money saved I'll be able to buy my girlfriend a radar, headers, catback, and CAI. Or I can buy a name brand exhaust, the pros out weight the negatives.
I am 22, so my age is definitely not what is making me feel as though this exhaust is too loud. I've had many aftermarket exhausts on all my cars and you can just tell when one isn't being resonated properly, its the quality of the sound that gives it that fart can feel. I felt like this exhaust had very little tone, instead it just increaesd in volume across the powerband, which was undesirable to me. After the X pipe, it had an increase in a pitch and tone that continued to build nicely as the revs rose.

Just buy the exhaust of ebay, if you look and see, all of them have the exact same SKU and part # in those threads. Just find whichever one is cheapest. Also i don't feel as that video of the exhaust with test pipes is close to what it really sounds like. between 2k and 3k rpm there is a HUGE spike in volume that is pretty strange.

Compare against test pipes with X pipe

It sounds just beautiful in that last clip.
