Default Anyone know the db level of the Godspeed / X02 exhaust? Legal in CA?

Just wanted to check if anyone knows the db lv of the godspeed / x02 exhaust for the z since I'm interested in getting one, I'm just unsure whether it is legal here in CA and if it complies with the 95 db law. Also considered getting the x-pipe mod if that lowers exhaust tone a bit.

hmm my set up seems to work rather well. They will never know unless you get on it.

i heard the hks knockoffs are like the real hks with test pipes. When I had the hks with test pipes, is was somewhat loud on startup. And pretty loud when you step on it. Other than that, shouldnt be an issue with the cops unless you stomp on it near them. Ive had numerous occurrences where cops would be next to me, behind me, or in front of me and no problem at all.

Cop lights flashing in your rear view mirror is party foul brosiff.
I agree with you on the conjoined mid pipe. It should really bring out a solid vq note.
Just contact the vendors and ask decibel levels. But once you go hfc/Tp, headers, its another story bud.

Yeah I know, no plans on getting tp/hfc's though, don't want to attract any unwanted attention since it's my dd. Considering getting something else as well such as the nismo s-tune / exotic speed r-1 / fujitsubo legalis. Would any of those have a significant difference in terms of db/sound level?

Someone local is selling the exotic speed and the fujitsubo and I might jump on either of those.

it is loud, but not ridiculous, you should be fine. besides, you will want the flowmaster x pipe mod or it will sound like #ss and lose low end power. Its a 150 dollar upgrade inc labor. I own one. The h pipe is pointless and the resonators drone like none other. Still, 500 bucks in total for a kick butt system.

hmm this post got me thinking... i own a 04 touring 5/6 motordyne spacer, nismo intake, ams crank pulley, im running cat deletes with xo2 all the way back, its loud as hell and does drone.. sounds like an all out race car, everyone has told me it sounds great, i personally hear rasp or like hollow can rasp sound inside the car on high rev. do you recommend this x pipe to clear this up? and maybe some gain in power, i feel like my car lags for a sec. i always thought i should of removed the wot.
