Do you have pics and/or a sound clip of that TDX system on a TT car?

My APS 3" TD makes good power, but is loud as fawk, and its starting to get old, even for me.

As of today we have 7 in stock but they always move fast. Turbo or NA they are modularly built and interchangeable between the two, so they can be configured either way.

Neither system has drone.

Can't a Greddy ti-c dual handle that power level?

The Greddy TI-C Turbo is 2.75 dual, so it can.

Here you go.

To be clear, the Turbo TDX is loud but it doesn't drone.

I'll probably go this route. I like the setup, and love the sound!
My only hesitation is that your Advanced Resonance Tuning (ART test pipes) look like they're 2.5" for a N/A system. What are the chances of a turbo application for those?

Thanks

^ +1

I think he would have to make the elbow coming off the turbo flange

I got the APS 3.5" downpipes and it had a turbo flange so it mates right to the turbo
I don't know about the other turbo kits but I know APS comes with a elbow that attaches to
the factory cats or aftermarket DP which would create a bottle neck

The ART pipes are 2.25". In your case you are better off with 3" down pipes.

You dont happen to have a clip of the V2 in car cruising on a FI car do you? My drone is so bad I literally cant hear the stock (crappy I know) stereo. By the time I can hear it the speakers are distorting badly.

350z 6spd may have clips of the V2.

If your drone is that bad, expect the drone will probably be reduced by about 20db.

This isn't at highway speeds, but maybe it will be helpful. I tried a FastIntentions, Greddy EvoTT and finally a shockwave V1 - all droned badly on my 5AT with TT. The V2 shockwave is the only one that doesn't drone. It's mild at highway cruising in the cabin - you will like it. Still too loud on the outside around town - I get told that my car is too loud, but just about everyone around here drives stock BMWs...

+1. what tt system are you running? i know aps has monster 3.5" downpipes that taper to 3".

i have a greddy so i run aam 3" downpipes (+dumptubes) and 3" true dual and it is loud. that combo cost about $1600 so shop around a bit for a lower price.
