Default K&N - My Goodness

Well As you can see by my sig I am not very wealthy!!!

So my mods are very little to none and what i do have are upgrades of OEM.

I bought the K&N filter because i am bad about the filter. I alwaysd forget its there, hehe! well i installed it and ran it because it says to increase HP. I was like, Yeah Right!!

I went for a test drive and.... Holy crap! it did. The car ran/accelerated smoother and faster at high-end! Believe me or not i know what i felt. Definetely worth the 44 bux and since there is all this mixed controversey about CAI and such i figure this is the way to go! AND I WAS RIGHT!!

Now all i need is an ECU Flash and my car will run the way it was suppose to run from the factory

Grounding Kit + K&N Filter + TS ECU Flash = how the 350Z was suppose to be sold

OK, i read the other threads, yes maybe i should of posted there but i was excited and wanted to share. As for th oil problem! seems amajority of it is from cone filters and some but few from stock filter replacement. I am going to wipe it down a little but it wasn't that bad to begin with!

So I guess i am still missing the joke!

whatever!

vincenzobar, don't worry about it... I believe you. I have the same K&N filter in my car and I saw it dyno for 7whp with my own eyes.. Everyone will have different opinion about it, but it's what makes you feel good that counts!!

it goes all ways, but dynos for boltons are always somewhat useless. sadly they all produce so little power, it can almost all be written off as dyno error if you want. no when you put them all together and get 20hp difference, thats beleivable, but Ive seen a car dyno 7hp different in 2 runs of 3 in the same sitting. thats a bit much to beleive 7hp from a filter. specially since Ive seen some post dynos where they lost hp...

but hey whatever feels good.

not hard, just do it right, its very delicate.

but anything that needs to be done plus price needs to be considered vs the benefits.
