I'm thinking of changing my set up. I want something that has a meaness on decel.. my tanabe medallion is kind of high-pitched. They advertised it as a deep toned exhaust.

 

can u get a clip just revving

 

just put mine on this morning...AMAZING i love it so far perfect loudness and tone..smooth but has nice burbling and popping sounds.

 

mine just arrived yesterday and is laying in my living room. cant wait to get it on.

im very surprised it is not raspy whatsoever even with test pipes.

 

Yea i love how its smooth at times and just mean at others, the test pipes really really made it louder. My room mate was washing his car and i jumped on it in 3rd gear about 2 miles from the house and he told me he thought it was a bike at first haha. He drove it down the street so I could hear it and I was shocked, it sounded like I was right down the street from Road Atlanta.

 

^with the test pipes do u get a rattle after u rev it like when the rpms drop to around 1.5k rpm. Couple vids ive seen of hfc's with the gemini have that rattle

no not too much rasp, but there is a little, i noticed it more at first but now i guess im just used to it. and its an x pipe you can see in the middle of the picture. i got the open tip instead of the rolled to look less like the stock exhaust and i just polished the tip to not have the burnt look on it

 

What size piping 2.5? Looks like a quality system

 

yea 2.5 and all the welds and everything look perfect

 

Thanks for the vid and the info. I actually made my purchase based partially off of your vid I'm hoping the rasp is mostly due to the test pipes. I decided to go with the Berk HFC. I guess i'll find out in a few days. Thanks again.

 

You will definately get the hiss from the Berk's. I have em. Post up clips for sure...

 

Will do. I'll do a before and after including a few runs. Hopefully I will be receiving it this week and will do the install on the weekend. So did you change your setup to the Invidia?

 

^no, I have the tanabe medallion touring. I'm doing to many other wheel and suspension mods to afford another exhaust at the moment
